Peter is a professional Chartered Accountant with over 35 years’ experience in international and Australian settings across Commercial and Public Practice roles. With that experience, he value the importance of professional partnerships and appreciate the vital role which professional standards, professional development, technical expertise, and communication play in carrying out his professional responsibilities.

He value working with clients in supporting them to manage their businesses in all their complexities across financial, administrative, taxation and retirement planning spheres.
Following university, he trained with Deloitte – a large international accounting firm – as an auditor where he gained valuable systems and multiple scale business experience which gave him an introduction to his life’s work and career defining skills.

Following his initial training and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he spent many years working in commercial roles in a variety of different industries, variously as Finance Manager, Group Accountant and Chief Financial Officer.

Peter have most recently worked in senior roles in Public Accounting firms dealing with a variety of small to medium enterprises and businesses and complex medium to high wealth personal tax clients.

In his role at Magnus, as a Client Manager, he bring this experience and knowledge to apply to our client base for the benefit of our clients and the firm at large.

On weekends he enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren and can also be seen playing golf at his local course on a Saturday.
